No. 5 Tribe Set to Play at VMI this Saturday

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The fifth-ranked Tribe will hit the road for the second-consecutive weekend when it plays at VMI on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Live audio will be available online at TribeAthletics.com, while live video is available through bigsouthsports.com.

In a series that dates back to 1905, W&M owns a 52-33-2 all-time record against VMI. W&M also holds a 17-16-1 edge in games played in Lexington.  With its 45-0 victory in Williamsburg last season, the Tribe has won the last 24 meetings.

Although W&M is coming off a setback at Virginia last weekend, the Tribe has traditionally bounced back from season-opening losses during the Laycock era and owns a 13-6 record in games following week one losses.

VMI opened its season last Saturday with a 24-21 defeat against Delaware State in Lexington, which snapped a streak of six straight season-opening wins for the Keydets.
