WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (March 16, 2012) - The William and Mary football program began its spring practice schedule Friday afternoon with a two-hour workout at the Montgomery Practice Facility.

Friday's session was the first of 15 practices scheduled during the next month. The spring drills will culminate with the annual Green and Gold game, which is slated for Saturday, April 14 in Zable Stadium at a time to be determined. The game will be free and open to the public.

The Tribe will open its 2012 season at Maryland on Sept. 1, while its home opener against Lafayette is slated for Sept. 8.
