WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William
and Mary All-American cornerback B.W. Webb will showcase his talents in front
of coaches, scouts and front office personnel from all 32 NFL teams when he
participates at the upcoming 2013 Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Ind.
Beginning on
Saturday, Feb. 23 and going through Tuesday, Feb. 26, full coverage of the
combine will be televised by the NFL Network. Webb is scheduled to work out
with the defensive backs on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
Webb becomes
the fourth Tribe player invited to the combine, as defensive end Adrian Tracy
(2010), quarterback Mike Cook (1999) and offensive lineman Archie Harris (1987) also participated at the
event.
Webb will look
to join six former Tribe players who are currently on NFL rosters - David Caldwell
(New York Giants), Derek Cox (Jacksonville Jaguars), Jonathan Grimes
(Jacksonville Jaguars), Mike Leach (Arizona Cardinals), Sean Lissemore (Dallas
Cowboys) and Tracy (New York Giants).
Webb garnered
significant praise at the 2013 Senior Bowl last month where he competed against
some of the nation's top professional prospects. The Newport News, Va., native recently
wrapped up an outstanding career with the Tribe and earned three All-America

Phil Steele and was a second-team selection by the Associated Press and The
Sports Network.
Webb finished
his illustrious career as one of the most-decorated players in Colonial
Athletic Association history with nine postseason all-conference honors. A
first-team all-league selection during each of the past three seasons, Webb was
honored as the 2012 Special Teams Player of the Year by both the CAA and the
Touchdown Club of Richmond.
Selected to
the 2012 Buchanan Award Watch List, Webb earned a school-record 48 starts and
finished his career ranked among W&M's all-time top 10 in interceptions
(11) and punt return yards (603).
As a senior,
Webb totaled 46 tackles, eight PBU's, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble
and a tackle for a loss. Additionally, he averaged 11.2 yards per punt return
while ranking third in the conference with 123 punt return yards.
