The Tribe pair upended another nationally-ranked team, bouncing the No. 22-ranked Penn duo, 8-3. The Tribe sits at 10-2 on the season thanks to its current six-match winning streak.

Scouting Wake Forest
Wake Forest enters the weekend, having lost seven straight, including five by narrow 4-3 decisions. The Demon Deacons opened the season with a 7-0 win over Richmond, before its current losing skid. Included in those losses are a trio to nationally ranked foes, including 4-3 setbacks to No. 46 Long Beach State and No. 47 VCU. Talbert and Kasey Gardner comprise Wake Forest's No. 1 doubles team, which sits at 11-5 overall and 3-2 in dual-match play. Wake Forest leads the all-time series with the Tribe at 18-15, including an 8-5 advantage in Winston-Salem. Last season, W&M upended the Demon Deacons in Williamsburg, 6-1.

News and Notes
- After not being ranked to start the dual-match season, W&M has risen to No. 25 in the national rankings. The top 25 national ranking is the program's highest since Feb. 24, 2009 when it was 24th.

- The Tribe's 10-2 record is its best start to a season since 2007 and the third-best through 12 matches in school history. W&M started 11-1 in both 1980 and 2007 along with going 10-2 through 12 matches in 1982, 1984, 1989, 1999 and 2005.

- The Tribe's match at Wake Forest will be the first of five straight on the road during the entire month of March. W&M will also travel to Georgetown (March 16), Maryland (March 17), Rice (March 23) and Houston (March 24), before returning home to face Georgia State on April 5.

- Juniors Jeltje Loomans and Maria Belaya moved up to No. 2 nationally in the doubles poll released on Feb. 26. It marks a career-high for both Loomans and Belaya and the highest ranking for a Tribe team since Megan Moulton-Levy and Katarina Zoricic were ranked No. 1 in 2007. The pair is currently 19-2 overall and 10-1 in dual match play.
