Brandon Parker Named CAA Men's Golf Co-Player of the Week

Freshman Turned in Pair of Career-Best Performances at Kingsmill

RICHMOND, VA - William and Mary freshman Brandon Parker (Auburn, Mass.) was rewarded Wednesday for his superb play last week at the First Market Bank Intercollegiate, as he was named the Co-Golfer of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association. He shared the honor with Virginia Commonwealth's Vincent Nadeau.

Parker earned his first career top-five finish at the FMB Intercollegiate by shooting two rounds below his previous collegiate-best. His two day total of 72-71==143 (+1) tied him for fifth in the field of 106 competitors on the River Course at Kingsmill, and is the second-best 36-hole performance against par by any underclassman on the team this season.

Parker and the Tribe hit the links again one week from Friday, April 4-5 at the Marshall Invitational in Huntington, West Virginia.
