Cross Country: Third for W&M at both the CAA Championships and the Southeast Regional ... Earned her first all-conference nod after taking eighth at the CAA meet ... Finished 69th overall at the region championships ... Opened her year with a pair of 17th-place showings, at Richmond and in the W&M Invitational ... Aso ran at the Paul Short Invitational and at Wisconsin.
Indoor: Named All-East after helping the Tribe's 4x800m relay take seventh at the ECAC Championships ... Ran the anchor leg ... Competed in just three individual races, all miles ... Best time of 5:03.28 came at Virginia Tech, where she finished second ... Won the mile at the Vince Brown Invitational.
Outdoor: Mostly ran the 1,500m, with two impressive tries at 800m ... Won the 800m at Richmond in 2:14.07 ... Lowered her personal-best to 2:12.63 at the UVA Challenge ... In the 1,500m, finished sixth at the CAA Championships ... Career-best mark of 4:33.32 came at Princeton in late April.

: Was the first Virginia Triple Crown winner ... Named freshman of the year by Milestat.com and was the Nike Indoor Nationals individual freshman mile champion in 2006 ... Earned All-State honors all four years of high school and was a 17-time state qualifier ... Voted three-time MVP for her cross country team ... Member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club as well as an AP Scholar ... Was the writing editor for award-winning literary magazine Eddas ... Graduated with a diploma in creative writing from the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts at her high school.
