WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (March 31, 2010)-
After
posting outstanding seasons, William and Mary seniors
Teenie Beck
and Melissa Cream
have qualified to compete in all-around at the NCAA Athens Regional to be
held at Georgia this Saturday at 4 p.m.
Junior Kristin
Milardo also qualified as an alternate in all-around.
Regional

Ticket Office at 1-877-542-1231. Tickets for adults are $12, while student
tickets (college age and younger) are $9.
The Tribe's
top all-arounder this season, Beck qualified for regionals with a RQS of
38.125. Her best performance of the campaign came in the season opener at the
Lindsey Ferris Invitational hosted by George Washington when she recorded a
38.650. En route to posting the impressive score, she recorded a career-best
9.825 on beam. Another of Beck's highlights came at the ECAC Championship where
she placed fifth on floor by equaling a season high with a 9.800.
Saturday will
mark Beck's second appearance at regionals, as she placed 13th in all-around
last season.
Cream also
recorded an outstanding season for W&M and qualified for regionals with a
RQS of 38.035. Her best performance of the season came on Senior Night against
Kentucky when she tallied a season-high 38.400. Cream also posted a career-best
9.750 on floor in the dual meet against UK. Two week's ago, the West Windsor,
N.J., native earned multiple all-conference honors at the ECAC Championship by
placing third on bars and sixth in all-around.
During the
last five years, the Tribe has produced six regional qualifiers as
all-arounders.
