CONWAY, S.C. (Aug. 9, 2011) - Former William and Mary lacrosse
standout Jaime Sellers ('08) has been hired as the head women's lacrosse coach
at Coastal Carolina. Sellers becomes the program's first head coach, as the
Chanticleers will offically begin compeition in the spring of 2013.

at W&M, Anne Harrington ('07), also continued her climb up the coaching
ranks and was recently hired as an assistant at Connecticut.
After a prolific, record-setting collegiate
playing career, Sellers spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at
Stanford University before being hired by Coastal Carolina. As a player at
W&M, Sellers earned multiple all-conference honors and was an all-region
selection as a senior. During her final year at the College, she established a
single-season school record for goals (66) and led the Colonial Athletic
Association in goals per game (3.47) and game-winning goals (5). The Kennebunk,
Maine native's goals per game average ranked 13th in the country that season.
Harrington joins UConn's staff
after serving as an assistant at Dickinson College. At W&M, Harrington
helped lead the Tribe to a pair of CAA Tournament berths and earned the team's
Academic Achievement Award as well as the 2007 "Work Horse" Award, voted on by
all teammates to recognize the individual who, leading by example, pushes
herself and thus her team to higher achievements.
