2011-12 - PROVOST AWARD WINNER
Cross Country: Redshirted ... Ran unattached at the Tribe Open and the Cavalier Open.
Indoor: Ran only once, taking seventh in the 3000m at the CNU Holiday Open.
Outdoor: Earned all-conference honors at the CAA Championships, finishing second in the 3,000m Steeplechase ... It was his first-ever race in the event ... Also took sixth in the 5,000m at the conference meet.
Prep: Named MVP of the North Carolina indoor all-divisions state championships as a senior ... Won both the 1,600m and 3,200m, and finished second on the 4x800m relay ... In the fall, was third at the 3A state cross country championships ... Won the region and the conference ... Named the Area Cross Country Runner of the Year by the Rocky Mount Telegram both as a senior and junior ... Salutatorian of his graduating class.
