RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 22, 2012) - After excelling both on the field and in the classroom, 11 William and Mary football players have earned Colonial Athletic Association Academic All-Conference Team distinction.

The list of Tribe players honored includes: wide receiver Joey Brady, quarterback Brent Caprio, linebacker Dante Cook, offensive lineman Matt Crisafi, defensive lineman Chris Johnson, placekicker Drake Kuhn, quarterback Michael Paulus, fullback TJ Ptachick, fullback John Ribble, offensive lineman Trevor Springman and linebacker Andy Topping.

To be eligible for the CAA Football Academic All-Conference Team, a player must be a starter or important reserve and have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better (on a 4.00 scale) for his entire academic career.
