The William and Mary women's track and field team collected three All-East honors Sunday at the ECAC Championships, improving to a tie for 36th overall with six points in the 50-team field at the conclusion of the event.  Cornell won the ECAC title by a single point over Maryland-Eastern Shore, 55-54.

1,000m Run
In the 1,000m run, sophomore Christina Lee (Sterling, Va.) ran a lifetime-best for the second time in less than 24 hours to take seventh and earn her first All-East honor in 2:52.47.  The fourth-fastest athlete in school history in the event, Lee's time Sunday was the seventh-fastest ever run indoors at W&M.  Junior Katie Buenaga (Greenville, Del.) was also named All-East, nearly falling but recovering to take eighth in 2:56.22.

4x800m Relay
The Tribe's 4x800m relay also earned All-East accolades, placing seventh in 9:11.16, the ninth-fastest time ever run indoors at W&M.  Freshman Maggie Gutierrez (Purcellville, Va.) led off with a 2:17.2 split, before handing to the baton to sophomore Olivia Harding (Roanoke, Va.).  Harding ran 2:19.5, before Katie Buenaga ran third in 2:17.7.  Junior Michelle Britto (Woodbridge, Va.) anchored the team in 2:15.9.

William and Mary now has three weeks off before opening the outdoor campaign hosting the Tribe Invitational, March 23-24 at Zable Stadium.
