Q: Why did you choose the Tribe?
I chose the Tribe because I grew up watching Tribe athletics, and it is a great school overall.

Q: Describe a moment when you felt the most Tribe pride...
I remember when I was at the UVA football game when Tribe football won (2009), and I remember how proud I was to be wearing my Tribe shirt!

Q: Do you belong to any other clubs, groups, or organizations?
I belong to SVEA, Student Virginia Education Association and served as the gymnastics SAAC rep for two and half years.

Q: What are some community activities you or your team has done?
As a team we have been really involved with raising money with JDRF. This year I have enjoyed volunteering with a special needs preschool class at Norge Elementary. I also love coaching my young and talented gymnast at the WISC, they amaze me every day!

Q: What is your intended or declared major and why?
I am a psychology major and I have been accepted into the 5th year master's program in Elementary Education.

Q: Describe your dream job:
If I could chose any job, I would be a country music singer like Carrie Underwood!

Q: If you could play another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
I think I would want to play volleyball because it looks like it would be fun to play!

Q: Favorite team tradition/activity and why?
I enjoy our tradition of hanging out and writing nice notes to everyone the night before our first meet. I also love baking yummy treats with some of my teammates!

Q: Which teammate will have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
Lindsey Nichol will have the most interesting job because she will either have her own bakery or be a professional hip hop dancer. I have known her for over 10 years, and she surprises me every day. I expect no less with the next 10 years to come!

Q: What animal would best describe you and why?
A dog because they are energetic, happy, and loyal

Q: What is your favorite quote or phrase?
"Learn to appreciate what you have, before time forces you to appreciate what you had."

Q: What is your favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
Italian and Southern

Q: Favorite place you have visited or traveled to and why?
I loved Disney World because it is the happiest place on Earth and I am just a big kid.

Q: Most addicting television show?
Pretty Little Liars

Q: How will you change the world (or even just one person's world)?
I plan to change the world by becoming a teacher and helping children learn and succeed every day! 

Q: Tell us something about yourself that most people don't know...
I have a genetic disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) that makes my joints super flexible and my skin stretchy!

Q: What was your most-commented Facebook post?
"Just received my official acceptance letter into grad school - oh yay!"

Q: What's number one on your bucket list and why?
One day when I have enough money I want to buy my parents a beach house or a fancy vacation to thank them for all they have done for me!

Q: What is your best non-athletic skill?
I love to sing I am not the best at it but it makes me happy!

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
After working closely with children with special needs I dislike like when people use the word retarded because they do not realize that it is degrading to others.

Q: What is something you are afraid of?
Always afraid to fly!

Q: What is an obstacle you had to overcome in your life?
Being told I couldn't do gymnastics anymore, but luckily I have a supportive family and friends who helped me along the way. I am still very thankful that I was still able to be a part of the team and have this experience.  Although I can no longer do gymnastics, I still love helping this team out in any way I can!
