NORMAN, Okla. (April
20, 2012) - William and Mary standout sophomore Daniel Potemski placed 17th
in the individual all-around finals at the NCAA Championships hosted by
Oklahoma on Friday evening.
Potemski posted an all-around total of 82.55 to garner the
top-20 finish at the national meet.
The Round Rock, Texas, native's best performance of the evening
came on vault where he nearly matched his career high with a 14.75. Potemski's
other scores included a 14.2 on floor, a 13.55 on pommel horse, a 13.0 on
rings, a 13.7 on parallel bars and a 13.35 on high bar.
Potemski's performance wraps up the Tribe's trip to the NCAA
Championships, as he was one of nine W&M gymnasts who qualified as
individuals for the national meet.
