WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (June 22, 2012) - The
William and Mary football program announced this afternoon that defensive back
Frank Tamakloe has transferred into the College and will enroll in classes this
summer.
Tamakloe, a
native of Washington, D.C., came out of Our Lady of Good Counsel as one of the
nation's top rated defensive backs in 2009. Ranked as the No. 25 safety in the
country by ESPN/Scouts Inc., he was also ranked as the No. 60 safety by Rivals
and the No. 67 safety by Scout.
After
redshirting as a freshman at Wisconsin in 2010, Tamakloe played in eight games
as a reserve for the Badgers last season.
The Tribe will
open the 2012 season when it plays at Maryland on Sept. 1.
