WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (July 19, 2012) - William
and Mary football head coach Jimmye Laycock, as well as cornerback B.W. Webb and
linebacker Jabrel Mines, will participate in the 2012 CAA Football Media Day at
M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., on Wednesday, July 25.
Highlighting
the league's annual kickoff event will be CAA Football Media Day Live, a
two-hour free broadcast that will feature interviews from head coaches and
selected players. A link to the broadcast, which will air from 10 a.m. - noon, will
be available at CAAFootball.com.
Not only will
W&M and CAA Football fans around the country be able to watch the free show
previewing the upcoming 2012 season, but they will also have the opportunity to
interact with each other and the league regarding media day. CAA Football will
run a CoverItLive blog on CAAFootballblog.com
in conjunction with the internet broadcast, and will also post updates
throughout the day using its Twitter
and Facebook feeds. The
official twitter hashtag for the 2012 CAA Football Media Day and Media Day Live
broadcast is #CAAFBmd. Official tweets will include this hashtag and all media
and fans are asked to use it in their tweets related to the event.
In the week leading up to media day, the league is encouraging its fans to
submit questions to be incorporated in the internet broadcast. A multitude of
