WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - In a new series featuring the William and Mary women's basketball team, TribeAthletics.com sat down with the program's student-athletes to discuss their summer and various other topics. The series continues, as fans get the chance to know a little more about sophomore guard Kyla Kerstetter.
A sophomore guard from Brentwood, Tenn., Kerstetter appeared in all 30 games for the Tribe last season, scoring 112 points on the year, while averaging 8.3 minutes per contest. In her collegiate debut against Cornell, Kerstetter poured in nine points to go along with three steals and two rebounds. Later in the season, she tallied a career-high 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor at Hofstra. In points per 40 minutes, Kerstetter's 17.9 currently rank third in the CAA for all returning players.
