WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - In an interview series with William and
Mary student-athletes, 'Off the Court," TribeAthletics.com gives fans a
look into athletes' activities away from the athletic realm. This edition,
Tribe men's basketball player Matt Rum discusses his summer internship for IMG
College at the University of California, Berkley. IMG College is the leading
collegiate multimedia, marketing and licensing/brand management company in
America representing more than 200 of the nation's top collegiate properties.
A two-year starter, Rum is one of four captains for the Green and Gold this year. He started 22 of 32 games in 2011-12, while leading the Tribe in assists and 3-point field goal percentage. Rum knocked down 38 3-poitners on the season, which ranked second on the Tribe, and averaged better than six points per contest during his junior campaign. He currently ranks 11th in W&M history in assist-to-turnover ratio, while ranking 20th in 3-pointers made.
