The William and Mary field hockey team held strong in the national polls this week, checking in at No. 21 after splitting last week's two matches.  The Tribe is ranked for the third week in a row in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll, and also moved one spot to No. 24 in the official NCAA RPI.

The Tribe defeated Delaware 4-0, and fell to Richmond 2-1 last weekend to move to 9-3 overall and 2-1 in the Colonial Athletic Association.  W&M is currently on school-record pace in both points per game (8.42) and assists per game (2.75), and is both scoring goals (2.83 per game) and stopping goals (1.08 goals-against average) at the best rate since 1980.

William and Mary has two key conference matches this weekend, and could lock up a spot in the CAA Tournament with two wins.  On Friday night, the Tribe will take on #18 Drexel at 7 p.m., before hosting Towson on Sunday at 1 p.m.
