News and Notes:
-
Wednesday's match will be the 10th meeting between the Tribe and Panthers, as the College leads the all-time series 6-3.  Additionally, W&M owns the aggregate advantage, 20-8.  In its three meetings in Williamsburg, the Tribe is 3-0 against Georgia State and has outscored the Panthers, 11-2.

- Last season, the Green and Gold fell at Georgia State, 1-0, after GSU netted the difference maker in the 80th minute.  At the time, the College was the No. 22-ranked team in the nation and hadn't yielded a goal in its previous four matches.  The two squads met again at the 2011 CAA Tournament as the Panthers prevailed, 2-1.

-  The Tribe's 1-1 draw at Towson last Saturday was the first time since the 2008 campaign that the College has posted three or more regular-season ties.  In 2008, the Green and Gold recorded draws against UMass (2-2), Loyola (0-0) and Northeastern (1-1).

- Since 2000, the College is 13-9-5 in matches following a tie.  After playing Towson to a 1-1 draw in 2010, the Green and Gold proceeded to reel off seven-straight wins, as it outscored the opposition 13-3 over that stretch.  The Tribe's seven-game streak was ignited with a 3-0 win over Georgia State in Williamsburg.
