The William and Mary field hockey team held at the No. 21 spot in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA national poll this week, after splitting its two matches last weekend at home.  This is the fourth consecutive week in the polls for the Tribe, who will face ranked teams in three of its final four regular-season matches.

W&M fell in a shootout with then-No. 18 Drexel last Friday night, 4-3, before winning by the same margin in overtime against Towson on Sunday.  The Tribe is now 10-4 (3-2 CAA) on the year, and clinched three significant way-markers with Sunday's victory.  The College has clinched a spot in the CAA Championships for the first time since 2008, and is assured of a winning season for the first time since 2006.  W&M's 10 wins are also the first 10 win season since 2006 as well.

William and Mary has just one match this week, taking on No. 22 Wake Forest at home.  The Tribe and the Demon Deacons will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night at Busch Field.
