Q: Why did you choose the Tribe?

The Green and Gold was a nice relief from the purple and orange at Clemson.

Q: Describe a moment when you felt the most Tribe pride...

Any time, whether in practice or in matches, when the team yells "Go Tribe" to one another, I really get the feeling of "We're in this together."

Q: Take us through your pre-game mental preparation routine:

In juniors, I used to be very ritualistic about my match prep, but when I started college, I've gotten a little more lenient. We obviously go through team breakfast, warm up, etc., but there are still some small things that I like to make my own, like secluding myself for a couple minutes before the match to collect my thoughts.

Q: What are some community activities you or your team has done?

Our team had just recently helped out with the "Farms to Forks" benefit dinner, which really was a fun experience. I may have found the inner waitress in me.

Q: What is your intended or declared major and why?

I am a Kinesiology major, hoping to become an occupational or physical therapist. Elementary education is also not out of the question.

Q: Describe your dream job:

My dream job involves something that makes me happy day in day out. I would like to teach people, whether it's tennis, physical, occupational therapy, etc, as long as I see that what I do makes a difference in the lives of other people. Teaching runs in my family, so I'd like to continue that family tradition.

Q: If you could play another sport at W&M what would it be and why?

Gymnastics. Hands down. It has to be one of the coolest sports ever.

Q: Favorite team tradition/activity and why?

Our team dinners are pretty rad. Scooping Anik's spinach dip by the gallons is always a team favorite.

Q: What animal would best describe you and why?

A nudibranch. Known for their striking colors and shapes (my dark skin). They are also in the family of sea slugs (the rate at which I run at).

Q: What is your favorite quote or phrase?

"You gotta put your behind in your past."- Pumba

Q: What is your favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?

Thai, hands down. Nothing beats the Tom Kha Gai soup (coconut milk soup).

Q: Favorite place you have visited or traveled to and why?

My favorite place has to be Moscow Russia, because nothing beats home. All my family is there, so the only time I get to go there is the only time I get to visit them.

Q: If you could sit down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?

My "adopted" American grandmother. I'd like to catch up with her, and tell her how much I miss her dearly.

Q: Most addicting television show?

Game of Thrones. Winter is coming folks.

Q: How will you change the world (or even just one person's world)?

I hope to teach someone a skill they never had or one that is proving to a be a challenge for them.

Q: Tell us something about yourself that most people don't know...

I seemed to like falling off of tall things when I was young. I almost fell into Niagara Falls when I was three years old, and I fell off a flight of stairs when I was five. And although my teammates know this, I speak, read, and write fluently in Russian.

Q: What was your most-commented Facebook post?

Any political post on Facebook automatically sparks creative/ intense discussions.

Q: What is your best non-athletic skill?

I really enjoy writing, and I would like to think I'm a pretty good singer (though others may disagree).

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve and why?

Talking behind people's backs. We are all guilty of it sometimes, but I've learned how hurtful it is first hand my freshman year of college.

Q: What is something you are afraid of?

Losing someone I love. And Mumford and Sons breaking up.

Q: What is an obstacle you had to overcome in your life?

Hanging onto that ledge at Niagara Falls. Scary stuff, let me tell you.
