WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Friday brought with it the start of the college basketball
season as teams across the country took to the hardwood for the first official
practice of the 2012-13 season, including the William and Mary men's basketball program. Head coach
Tony Shaver and the Tribe kicked off the campaign with a two-hour season-opening practice
on Friday night at Kaplan Arena.

The Tribe will kickoff the 2012-13 campaign at home against
instate foe Hampton. W&M opens the season at home for the first time since
2005 as the College hosts a men's and women's doubleheader at Kaplan Arena on
Friday, Nov. 9. Following the Tribe women's season opener against East Carolina
at 5 p.m., the men's program hosts Hampton at 7:30 p.m. Click
