WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - With four starters and 11 letterwinners
returning, the 2012-13 season is set to be an exciting one for the William and
Mary women's basketball program. Join in on the action as season and single
game tickets are now on sale both through the Tribe Ticket Office and online.
The Tribe's home slate includes 12 games for the 2012-13 season.
Season tickets are available for $45 for adults and $20 for youth. The College
opens the season with a men's and women's doubleheader on Friday, Nov. 9. The
Tribe women will face East Carolina at 5 p.m., before the Tribe men open the
year against instate foe Hampton at 7:30 p.m. Also in the non-conference, women's
basketball will host Virginia Union (Nov. 14) and Winthrop (Jan. 2).
In conference play, the Tribe will play every CAA team in Kaplan Arena with the
lone exception being Hofstra. W&M opens CAA action with a home contest
against UNCW on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m. The home league ledger also includes contests
with instate rivals Old Dominion (Sunday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.) and James Madison
(Sunday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m.) as well as a meeting with defending CAA Champion
Delaware (Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m.). The Green and Gold will host
Northeastern on Thursday, Feb. 14, in a game that will be televised on Comcast
SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (CSN-MA) and New England (CSN-NE) as well as The Comcast
Network Philadelphia (TCN-P).
