William and Mary junior Andrew Strait (Henrico, Va.) was named Swimmer of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association again on Tuesday, after his record-breaking performance against East Carolina last weekend.  This is the second week in a row and third time this season that Strait has been picked as the league's top perfomer.

Against the Pirates on Sunday, Strait helped break one pool record in the 400 medley relay, and came back later with another facility record in the 200 IM.  For the first, he swam the breaststroke leg alongside freshmen Will Manion (Haddonfield, N.J.) and Justin Barden (Gordonsville, Va.), as well as senior Hunter Perrot (Falls Church, Va.) as the Tribe swam 3:23.61 for the win and the record.  In the 200 IM, it was his own record that Strait broke, touching the wall in 1:53.16 for his team-best 13th victory of the season.  In between those two performances, he also won the 100 breast in 55.95, the second-fastest performance ever at W&M behind only his school-record 54.85 from earlier this fall.

Strait and the Tribe men will continue the fall season this weekend, swimming at the Hokie Fall Invitational from Thursday-Saturday.
