Scouting the Tribe
W&M travels to Radford on Saturday afternoon with an overall record of 2-5.   On Tuesday night, the College dropped a hard-fought decision at Navy, 69-64.  The Tribe led the Mids by as many as 13 points in the opening half, as senior forward Emily Correal poured in a game-high 21 points.

The College leads the Colonial Athletic Association in assists (110) and steals (85).  W&M's 66.7 points per game rank second in the league, while its 3-point shooting percentage (.385) is tied for first. 

Correal's 16.6 ppg rank third in the CAA, while her 9.3 rebounds per outing are tied for fourth.  Senior Janine Aldridge is pouring in 13.2 ppg, which is good for 11th in the league.  Additionally, her 18 3-pointers this season rank second in the conference, while her 239 career treys rank 10th all-time in CAA history.  Senior Taylor Hilton's free throw percentage (.889) leads the league, while her 3.3 assist-to-turnover ratio also stands in first.  The Washington, D.C., native is connecting on 47.8 percent of her attempts from long range, which ranks second in the conference, while her 3.7 assists per outing rank fourth.

Scouting the Highlanders
Under the direction of fifth-year coach Tajama Abraham Ngongba, Radford enters Saturday's contest with an overall record of 3-4.  In their last outing, the Highlanders fell at No. 21 North Carolina, 64-44.  RU outscored the Tarheels, 34-31, in second-half action, as freshman reserve Dani Mason paced Radford with 10 points.

Radford has scored 70 or more points in each of its victories this season.  On the flip side, in four setbacks, RU has failed to reach the 70-point mark.  The Highlanders are scoring 65.9 points per outing, while allowing 62.4 points.  At the Dedmon Center, which is home to RU basketball, the Highlanders are 1-1 this season.

Senior Ashley Buckhannon fuels Radford's offense with 11.9 ppg, while classmate Sarah Tabb is pouring in 8.9 points per outing on 53.3 (24-of-45) percent shooting from the floor.  Senior guard Victoria Hamilton is pulling down 7.1 rebounds per outing to go along with a team-high 23 steals.

News and Notes:
- Saturday afternoon's game will mark the 20th meeting between W&M and RU, as the Highlanders own a 14-5 series edge.  The squads last met during the 2009-10 season as the College opened the year with a decisive 30-point victory, 70-40, at Kaplan Arena.  Senior Janine Aldridge poured in 11 points, while classmate Emily Correal chipped in with nine points and eight rebounds in the season debut.

- Having played 10 of 11 teams in the Big South, the College has posted an overall mark of 52-63 against Big South competition.  W&M owns the series advantages over Liberty (11-7), Winthrop (5-0), Gardner-Webb (3-0), Campbell (2-0), Charleston Southern (2-0), UNC-Asheville (2-1) and Coastal Carolina (1-0). 

- Senior forward Emily Correal is only 21 points shy of becoming the 17th player in W&M history to post 1,000 career points.  Earlier this season, classmate Janine Aldridge netted her 1,000 career point in the College's contest at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Correal, who hails from Venetia, Pa., is averaging 16.6 points this season, which included a career-high tying performance of 27 at Pittsburgh on Nov. 11.   

-  Through seven games this season, the Green and Gold have limited opponents under 40 percent shooting in five contests.  W&M held Navy (39.3 percent), George Washington (33.3 percent), Virginia Union (30.0 percent), Pittsburgh (36.8 percent) and East Carolina (38.5 percent) under 40 percent from the field.
