WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Jan. 17, 2013) - After an outstanding performance in the season-opening meet against Towson last Saturday, William and Mary freshman gymnast Brittany Stover has been selected as the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Competing in her first collegiate meet, Stover earned top honors on vault with a 9.775 versus the Tigers. Additionally, the New Albany, Ind., native garnered a 9.650 on bars and a 9.200 on beam.

The Tribe will return to action when it competes at North Carolina on Sunday at 2 p.m.
