The Green and Gold forced 20 turnovers in the victory, which
resulted in 30 points for the Tribe.
W&M never trailed in the second half and led by as many as 15 points
as it improved its all-time record against the Tigers to 13-8. Senior Janine Aldridge led W&M with 15
points, while sophomore Anna Kestler poured in a career-high 11 points.
The Tribe returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 27, as it
welcomes CAA rival Old Dominion to Kaplan Arena for a contest scheduled to tip
at 2 p.m. The game will be part of the
season-long Optima Challenge, and five points will be up for grabs. W&M
currently leads the Challenge, 25-20.
