The William and Mary women's track and field team wrapped up the Virginia
Tech Challenge on Saturday afternoon, setting four new all-time marks on the final day of the indoor regular season. In total for the indoor season, nine women qualified for the ECAC Championships in six different events, in addition to qualifying both a 4x800m and distance medley relays.

400m Run
In the 400m, freshman
Claire Tito (Richmond, Va.) continued to impress with a season's-best time of 58.48 seconds. It was the 13th-fastest race ever run indoors for W&M, and ranks Tito sixth among all Tribe athletes. She will be racing at the ECAC Championships in the 500m, which she qualified for last week.
Pole Vault
Sophomore
Elizabeth Crafford (Darien, Conn.) also recorded a season's-best, clearing the bar at 3.75 meters (12-3.5) in the pole vault to re-qualify for the ECAC meet.
Distance Medley Relay
The Tribe's DMR also qualified for the ECAC Championships, with the top squad beating the qualifying standard in 12:05.16 for third place.
Michelle Britto (Woodbridge, Va.) led-off that relay, before passing the baton to
Brittany Biagi (Mullica Hill, N.J.),
Heather Clagett (Norfolk, Va.), and
Meghan McGovern (North Wales, Pa.) in turn. The team of
Carolyn Hennessey (Herndon, Va.),
Mary Beth Berg (Gray Lakes, Ill.),
Christina Lee (Sterling, Va.), and
Elaina Balouris (Allison Park, Pa.) was fourth in the race, crossing the line in 12:25.75.
4x400m Relay
Another top performance came in the 4x400m relay, with the team of
Shelby Feliciano (Winchester, Va.),
Grayson Llerandi (Ridgewood, N.J.),
Maggie Gutierrez (Purcellville, Va.), and Tito running 3:59.32. That is the ninth-best time ever run indoors by the Tribe, and the best since the school record was set back in 2008.
Shot Put
The Tribe added two more all-time marks in the shot put. Senior
Natalie Baird (Sterling, Va.) had a lifetime-best put in her final indoor meet, putting the shot 13.43m (44-0.75) for third place overall. She moves up into a tie for sixth place all-time at W&M indoors. Freshman
Rochelle Evans (Christiansburg, Va.) was fourth in the event, PR'ing by more than foot to put the shot 13.33m (43-9). Evans now ranks ninth in school history.
William and Mary has next weekend off as the Tribe hosts the Sentara
Colonial Half Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 24. Registration spots are still
