A 1995 graduate of the College, Owens was a four-year standout for the Tribe.  While donning the Green and Gold, Owens was a part of 63 wins, three NCAA tournament appearances, three CAA regular-season titles, and one CAA tournament championship.

In the process of claiming team accolades, Owens left his mark on the Tribe record books.  To this day, he ranks first in school history with 41 assists, while his 111 career points stand fourth.  Owens started 90 matches during his career, which rank second in the Green and Gold annals.  Owens' 13 game-winning scores rank second most all-time, while his 35 career goals stand at ninth.

As a freshman, Owens garnered All-CAA second-team accolades and All-South Atlantic Region honors.  His sophomore campaign culminated in earning a spot on the All-CAA first-team and another selection onto the All-South Atlantic Region squad.  In his final season, Owens earned second-team All-CAA accolades, while being named to the All-South Atlantic Region team for the third time in his career.
