William and Mary senior Andrew Strait (Henrico, Va.) was named the Colonial Athletic Association co-Swimmer of the Week Tuesday, marking the second time this fall that he has won the award.  Strait was also the Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 5.

Last weekend, Strait led the Tribe to a third-place finish at the Hokie Fall Invitational, beating AAC-foe Connecticut in the process.  Strait won the 100 breast in an NCAA-qualifying time of 55.15 seconds, and finished second in the 200 breast at 2:01.05.  Both of those times lead the CAA so far this season.  He also finished eighth in the 200 IM, and qualified for the finals of the 400 IM but did not swim that event in the evening.  Strait was also a part of four of the Tribe's five relays, and leads the CAA in the 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, and the 400 medley relay.  At the completion of the fall semester, he has a team-best 13 victories and 223.25 points, a career-high in the latter (195 points in the fall of 2012) and just one off of the 14 races Strait won last fall.

William and Mary's next competition won't come until after the holidays, when the Tribe hosts Davidson at 1 p.m. on Jan. 11.
