What is your full name?
Nicholas Joseph Jackson Zaremba.

Where are you from?
Fredericksburg, Va.

What is Fredericksburg best known for?
Fredericksburg is best known for a civil war battle that took place there in 1862.

Have you ever been around the battlefield?
Never, not a whole lot of interest.

Right now what is your favorite show?
"Survivor" has traditionally been my favorite T.V. show, but I'm definitely getting into "Operation Repo" and "Hardcore Pawn".

Were you a walk-on here?
I was a walk-on.

Did you earn a scholarship here?
Yes, I earned a full scholarship this summer, but I earned a scholarship two years ago.

Is that a great sense of personal pride?
It was a great, definitely a sense of accomplishment. I was happy that I got it but it doesn't really mean a whole lot if I waste it.  I need to prove myself on the field this year.

What music are you listening to?
I listen to all sorts of music.  Usually listen to the radio.  I listen to Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative Rock, Christian Rock, Gospel, a little of everything.

What is your favorite movie?
White Chicks.

Who is your favorite athlete?
Nick Markakis, the right fielder for the Baltimore Orioles.  I am a huge Orioles fan, I like his approach to the game, and he's a good guy in the community.  He's my favorite baseball player, and Sean Lissemore is probably my favorite football player.

If you had one ability, what would it be?
I wish that I could speak a whole lot of different languages.  I think that is really cool, people can just talk on their phone and talk in any language.

What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is steak, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.

Growing up I rooted for...
Growing up I was a huge Orioles fan and Cowboys fan.

What is the best class you have taken at William and Mary?
The best class I have taken is Insurgency and Terrorism.  It is a seminar that I took last year with Professor Smith.  Very rigorous course, but I really learned a lot.  I enjoyed it.

What are your career aspirations?
I want to do something in Government, either with defense or national development or something of that nature. I could see myself working for USID (United States Agency for International Development).  I did a fellowship a few years ago, called William and Mary D.C. Summer Security and State.  We visited a national counter-terrorism center, and that was an awesome visit and I could definitely see myself doing that.  That is something that I think I am striving for in the long term.

If you could trade places with anyone right now, who would it be?
I am happy with my own life.

What has been your favorite moment of your career?
Playing at UVA, I grew up as a UVA fan and I enjoyed being able to play in that Stadium.

If you could play any other position on the field what would it be?
I think playing Quarterback, if I had the throwing skills, would be a lot of fun.

Who is the best athlete you have competed against?
In college, the best athlete is the center for Delaware last year, Gino Gradkowski - he plays for the Ravens now.  He knocked me down a couple of times, and I thought he was ready for the next level.

What is your favorite spot of campus?
Besides Zable Stadium, I like the Sunken Gardens.  I think it's pretty tranquil, very historic, and a national landmark.  The Wren Building, Sunken Gardens area is pretty cool.

Among the defensive linemen who has the biggest personality?
Jasper Colman because sometimes we will all be serious in our meeting room, and he will just burst out laughing.

How would you describe this year's Tribe defensive line?
We want to be fast, relentless, and nasty playmakers.

Your dream job in 10 years would be...
Anything that I can do where I can see the greater good of it.  I do not know what I will be doing, but I just like to plan my life with short term goals.  I want to be doing something internationally focused but we will see where that takes me.
