Q: Why did you choose
the Tribe?
I chose the Tribe so that I could pursue my athletic career in
gymnastics while getting a great education.
Q: Describe a moment
when you felt the most Tribe pride...
I felt the most Tribe pride when my team huddled up after a strength
circuit and screamed out our chant: "Tribe on 3. 1-2-3 TRIBE!"
Q: Take us through
your pre-game mental preparation routine:
While listening to music, I visualize every routine making sure they
are picture perfect. I make sure that I keep good form and stick the landing.
Q: What are some
community activities you or your team has done?
I have marched in parades for my high school's symphonic/marching
band. I know that my team has done many community activities such as the
Williamsburg NEDA Walk.
Q: What is your
intended or declared major and why?
I am leaning towards being a computer science major because I enjoy
working with computers and I have that technological sense.
Q: Describe your dream
job:
My dream job is to open up a sushi restaurant.
Q: If you could play
another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
I would play basketball at W&M because it's my biggest hobby back
at home and I have a pretty good shot.
Q: Favorite team
tradition/activity and why?
Probably our team warm up because it incorporates a lot of different
stretches in succession.
Q: Which teammate will
have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
I think Nick will have the most interesting job because he has a vast
array of knowledge.
Q: What animal would
best describe you and why?
A monkey because I love bananas.
Q: What is your
favorite quote or phrase?
"On the other side of your greatest fears lives your
greatest life" (Robin Sharma).
Q: What is your
favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
Italian
Q: Favorite place you
have visited or traveled to and why?
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was my favorite place because the
vacation included friends and family that I will never forget.
Q: If you could sit
down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
I would sit down for lunch with Morgan Freeman because he is an
inspiration to everyone around the world.

television show?
The Office (Seasons 1-6)
Q: How will you change
the world (or even just one person's world)?
I will support that person with all I've got.

yourself that most people don't know...
I am adopted from Manila, Philippines.

I think it was a video of me doing a double front tuck on floor.

on your bucket list and why?
Get a job because I've never had one in my life.
Q: What is your best
non-athletic skill?
Being
friendly.
Q: What is your
biggest pet peeve and why?
When
the numbers on my clock don't add up to an even number before I go to bed.
It's
a superstition I have that makes me believe I will have a good day the
following day.
Q: What is something
you are afraid of?
Shrinking
when I get older because then I will probably be classified as a midget.
Q: What is an obstacle
you had to overcome in your life?
When
I broke my collarbone after attempting a side flip, I was out of gymnastics for
the last three months of the competition season and I could not improve my
skills for that year.
