Q: Why did you choose
the Tribe?
I fell in love with the campus and I had a blast with the team when I
came on my official visit.
Q: Describe a moment
when you felt the most Tribe pride...
I feel the most Tribe pride whenever I'm at the football games.
Everyone who's everyone is there. It's an awesome atmosphere to be a part of
and the entire stadium is all about the Tribe. All of the athletes sit near
each other and all of the non-athletes are up in the stands doing their cheers
and it's just so much fun.
Q: Take us through
your pre-game mental preparation routine:
Well, the first thing I do is listen to music that gets me excited to
play-I don't have a set band or song that I listen to, its whatever type of
music I'm feeling. Then once we warm up and have our pre-game locker room
meeting, I'm always nervous but at the same time, I cannot wait to get on the
court. I don't have real mental preparation. I just need some good songs to
listen to.
Q: Do you belong to
any other clubs, groups, or organizations?
I did an internship this summer with an organization called The Arc
and I am continuing to volunteer with them.
Q: What are some
community activities you or your team have done?
Our team works with The Arc and we go to their Fitness classes and do
yoga with them and every year we hold a basketball clinic for The Arc. They
LOVE it. We have also done the Salvation Army ringing the bell outside of
Martin's.
Q: What is your
intended or declared major and why?
I am majoring in Kinesiology and maybe doing a double major in
Education. I was always interested learning about the body and how it
functions. I was thinking about becoming a PT or a chiropractor. I always
wanted a job that was involved with sports and medicine together. I am also
interested in special education for kids so that's the reason why I chose
Education as a second major.
Q: Describe your dream
job:
If I could have any job in the world, it would definitely be a
quarterback for an NFL team... (Jets!) haha...
Q: If you could play
another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
I would definitely play volleyball. I played in high school and I love
it.
Q: Which teammate will
have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
Chanel. Chanel cannot work in a cubicle somewhere and work on the
computer or do filing, etc. She won't survive. So she'll definitely be out in the world
somewhere either working with kids or doing something crazy and getting a bunch
of free stuff....and I also think she'll be rich.
Q: What animal would
best describe you and why?
A fish. They have little features but big bodies...just like me. I have
a small mouth, small hands, small ears, small eyes. But a long body...like a
fish!
Q: What is your
favorite quote or phrase?
"I love you." It's simple, to the point, and it's the best thing
someone could ever hear.
Q: What is your
favorite type of food (i.e. Chinese, Mexican, etc.)?
My favorite type of food is Italian, even though I do not have an
ounce of Italian in me. Chicken parm is the best.
Q: If you could sit
down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
The Kardashian Family. I watch their show all the time and they have
the craziest conversations. Clearly not a "normal" family.
Q: Most addicting
television show?
I have so many. I am now officially addicted to The Office but I know
pretty much every episode of Will and Grace and Friends. Test me. I dare you.
Q: How will you change
the world (or even just one person's world)?
Make that person feel better about their self. Laugh at their jokes, funny
or not, take time out to talk to them, make them feel important in some way.
Remember something they told you and bring it up again at another time, and
definitely remember their name!
Q: Tell us something
about yourself that most people don't know...
I'm used to be scared of the people dressed up in character
costumes at Disney World or other amusement parks.
Q: What's number one
on your bucket list and why?
To go to Ireland. I've always wanted to go! It looks amazing and
everyone that I know who went there said they loved it.
Q: Favorite Person to
follow on Twitter?
Patti
Stanger from millionaire matchmaker. She's hilarious, brutally honest, and
pretty helpful. Haha.
Q: What is your
biggest pet peeve and why?
When
drawers, cabinets and doors are left open when they are meant to be closed. It
drives me up a wall.
Q: What is something
you are afraid of?
Going
back to my apartment after watching a scary movie somewhere else because I feel
like the bad guy or ghost or whatever is going to pop out of somewhere when I
walk into my apt.
