Richmond, Va. - The William and Mary men's tennis doubles team of sophomores
Ben Guthrie and Ben Hoogland was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA)
Doubles Team of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. It marks the second
doubles weekly honor for the Tribe this season after senior Jacob Braig and
sophomore John Banks received the distinction on Feb. 15.
Playing together for the first time this season, Hoogland and Guthrie went a perfect 2-0 in doubles competition against No. 46 Nebraska and CAA foe George Mason. The Tribe duo tallied an 8-6 win over the Cornhuskers' Eric Sock and Stefan Gollner at the No. 3 position in the College's narrow 4-3 setback to Nebraska. In the second match of the doubleheader, the W&M team recorded a convincing 8-1 win over Scott Keaton and Joseph Wiggins at the No. 2 doubles slot to help the Green and Gold to the doubles point in an eventual 6-1 win over George Mason.

squaring off with No. 42 San Diego State on Tuesday, March 6.
