WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (July 9, 2012) - William and Mary standout senior cornerback B.W. Webb has been selected to The Sports Network 2012 Preseason All-America Second Team.

Webb has established himself as one of the nation's top cornerbacks throughout his career and earned first-team all-conference honors during each of the past two seasons. Last fall, the Newport News, Va., native finished the season with 40 tackles, 3.0 tackles for a loss and two interceptions.

One of the most-decorated players in Colonial Athletic Association history, Webb has earned six all-conference postseason honors during the past three seasons. During that time, he has totaled 11 interceptions and currently ranks tied for eighth on W&M's all-time list.

The Tribe will open the 2012 season when it plays at Maryland on Sept. 1.
