William and Mary's Josh Hardin (Sterling, Va.) was named Runner of the Week on Wednesday by the Colonial Athletic Association, after leading the Tribe at last week's Pre-National Invitational.  It is the first award of the season for the redshirt-junior, and the fourth of his career.

Hardin was W&M's top runner in the preview of the NCAA course, running 23:52.2 for 26th place overall on Saturday.  Led by his efforts, the Tribe took 14th out of 40 teams in the race.  Earlier this season, Hardin was 12th overall and second for the College at the Paul Short Invitational, and fifth for the team and 13th overall at the W&M Invitational.

Hardin will be vying for his first conference title next week, as the Tribe hosts the CAA Championships on Homecoming (Oct. 27).  The 8K men's race out at Eastern State will begin at 11 a.m., with the awards ceremony following at 12 p.m.
