WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The William and Mary football team will look to claim the Commonwealth Cup for the third straight season when it hosts Richmond for Senior Day this Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Live video and audio of the broadcast, as well as live stats, will be available at TribeAthletics.com.
Tickets can be purchased at TribeAthletics.com or by calling the ticket office at 757-221-3340.
UR will represent W&M's fourth nationally-ranked opponent in the last five games, as the College has faced a trio of teams ranked among the nation's top 11 during the past four contests - all coming on the road.
In addition to ranking fourth in the conference in total defense (358.5) this season, the Tribe has continued to emerge offensively recently and is averaging more than 400 yards of total offense per game during the last six contests.
After posting a 3-8 record in 2011, Richmond currently owns the nation's fourth-best turnaround in the FCS this fall and enters Saturday's game with a 7-3 mark. A key to that success has been the Spiders' ability to force turnovers, as they currently lead the nation with a +20 turnover margin.
Saturday's game between W&M and Richmond will mark the 122nd meeting between the two schools in what has been traditionally called the "Oldest Rivalry in the South" - but may more accurately be described as the most played rivalry in the south. The Tribe leads the all-time series 61-55-5. The teams first met in 1898, when Richmond blanked W&M, 15-0.
