WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Nov. 14, 2012) - The William and Mary women's gymnastics team recently participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, marking the fifth-consecutive year in which the team has taken part in the event.

Although the actual walk was cancelled due to inclement weather, the Tribe reached its goal and raised a team-record $2,500 for the organization.

"We were disappointed the actual walk had to be cancelled because of weather, but we couldn't be more excited about raising $2,500 for such a worthy cause," head coach Mary Lewis said.
