WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Nov. 14, 2012) - The William and Mary lacrosse team recently volunteered at Jamestown Settlement, as the squad helped the organization prepare for its upcoming Foods and Feasts of Colonial Virginia event.

Tribe players cleaned the boat shed and moved firewood that will be used to cook the feast next week.

Foods and Feasts of Colonial Virginia, a three-day event that will begin on Thanksgiving, teaches how food was gathered, preserved and prepared on land and at sea by Virginia's English colonists and Powhatan Indians.

The Tribe lacrosse team will open its 2013 season when it hosts American on Feb. 13.
