WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Tribe fans have the opportunity to catch-up on
all things William and Mary men's basketball at the 'Luncheon with Tony' series
this coming Tuesday, December 18th. The monthly luncheon, featuring head coach
Tony Shaver, will be held at The Cove Restaurant in Williamsburg and is
scheduled for a noon start.
The luncheon will include a buffet for $11. The Cove Restaurant is located at
3701 Strawberry Plains Road. The 'Luncheon with Tony' series provides fans the
opportunity to get Coach Shaver's thoughts on the Tribe's season and upcoming
games as well as talk W&M basketball with select Tribe players and the
Green and Gold coaching staff.
The Tribe is off to a 6-3 start and currently sits atop the CAA standings
thanks to a 71-62 victory over Old Dominion on Dec. 1. The Green and Gold will
host Salisbury, who is 8-1 on the year, in its final game before Christmas.
Following the contest with the Sea Gulls, W&M will travel to Purdue on
Saturday, Dec. 29 (2 p.m.), and Vanderbilt on Wednesday, Jan. 2 (8 p.m.). The
contest against the Boilermakers will be available on ESPN3, while the
College's game at the Commodores can be seen on Comcast/Charter Sports
Southeast (CSS).
Tribe fans can follow the action on the Tribe Radio Network with Jay Colley, Charlie Woollum and Bill McDonald on the call. The Tide 92.3 FM in Williamsburg is the flagship station of the Tribe Radio Network and the broadcast can also be heard on TribeAthletics.com.
