WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - With the start of the William and Mary baseball season less than a month away, a pair of Tribe standouts have garnered preseason all-conference accolades from the Colonial Athletic Association in a vote of the league's 10 head coaches.
In 2012, Lindemuth capped his finest offensive season in a Green and Gold uniform batting .347 with 48 RBI's and five home runs. Statistically, he finished the season ranking fourth in the CAA in batting batting average, seventh in slugging percentage (.563), sixth in on base percentage (.458) and tied for fourth in runs scored (54). Farrell, who is the Green and Gold's all-time leader in saves with 14, cemented an impressive junior campaign with eight saves, which ranked third in the CAA. In a closers role, the Andover, Mass., native saw 42.2 innings of work last season as he compiled an ERA of 2.32 to go along with 42 strikeouts and just 14 walks.
In addition, to the preseason team being announced, the 2013 predicted order of finish was also released on Wednesday afternoon as W&M was picked to finish seventh.
