WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Oct. 25, 2013) — William and Mary women's gymnastics head coach Mary Lewis has announced the Tribe's 2014 schedule, which features 10 regular-season competitions and four home meets.
Following the annual Green and Gold exhibition on Dec. 6, the Tribe's competitive season will officially get underway when it hosts Cortland State at Kaplan Arena on Jan. 11.
W&M will then close out the month of January with road meets at Central Michigan (Jan. 17) and North Carolina State (Jan. 24).
Following an open week, the College will hit the road for four road competitions during the month of February. The Tribe will begin the stretch with a meet at George Washington on Feb. 9 before heading back to N.C. State for the Sweetheart Invitational (Feb. 15). W&M will then head to Towson (Feb. 22) and N.C. State (Feb. 28) for multi-team competitions later in the month.
The Tribe will close out its regular season with three consecutive home events, beginning with Cornell on March 8. The final weekend of the campaign will include a quad meet with Rutgers, North Carolina and Brown (March 14) and a dual meet on senior day against Temple (March 16).
This season’s ECAC Championship will be hosted by Temple on March 22, while the NCAA Regional follows two weeks later on April 5 at Georgia.
