What is your full name?
Robert Edwin Gumbita.

Are there any family connections in your name?
Yes, my father and grandfather are named Robert, and my middle name Edwin is after my mother's father.

Where are you from?
Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania.  It is a small town southeast of Pittsburgh.

Is it known for anything in particular?
Mt. Pleasant is not, but it is right next to Latrobe, which is known for Rolling Rock Brewery and Arnold Palmer.

What is your favorite show right now?
The "Walking Dead" on AMC.  It is about a zombie apocalypse with a group of people fighting to survive.

What music are you listening to now?
I like Breaking Benjamin before football games.

Who is your favorite athlete?
Troy Polamalu.  I am a big Steelers fan and I like the way he plays the game.

If you had an ability that you currently do not possess, what would it be?
I would like to be an incredibly talented doctor.

What is your favorite meal?
I am a big fan of pizza.

Growing up you rooted for?
Pittsburgh Steelers.

What is the best class you have taken at William and Mary?
Introduction to Archaeology.  I was always interested in Archaeology growing up, watching Jurassic Park.

What would you like to do for your career?
I would like to be a Radiologist.  I am a Kinesiology major with a concentration in Pre-med.

If you could trade places with anyone right now, who would it be?
I would probably trade places with my brother.  He is a junior in high school, a quarterback.  I just want to go back and have that experience over again.  I miss the football back in high school.

If you could play any other position on the field what would it be?
I think I would play wide receiver, because the rumor going around is that I have the best hands on the team.

Who is the best athlete you have ever competed against?
Jonathan Baldwin.  He now plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Where is your favorite spot on campus?
The Laycock Center, because it has everything you need to do there.  You can do academics, football, relax, watch TV, whatever you need to do, you can get done there.

What is your favorite Bob Solderitch quote?
Whenever someone gets too extended on a block he says "do not to dive out the window."

How would you describe this year's Tribe offensive front?
Close and experienced.  We really communicate and mesh well together.

Who has the biggest personality among your position group?
Matt Crisafi.  He is a real smart guy, real well-rounded but he has a great, unique personality.

What is one young lineman that you see having a bright future here?
We brought in two freshmen this year, Jerry Ugokwe and Dom Martinelli, who both have good size.  Especially Jerry, he came in a little bit raw, but he's got some size and athletic ability.

What is your dream job in 10 years?
Radiologist or a surgeon of some kind.
