2013-14 - PROVOST'S AWARD WINNER
Made the consolation finals of all three events at the CAA Championships ... Finished 15th in the 400 IM ... Took 16th in both breaststrokes ... At the Hokie Fall Invitational, finished 13th in the 100 breast and the 400 IM ... Also finished 14th in the 200 breast ... Earned a pair of bronze medals against Mary Washington, in the 100 breast and the 500 free.

2012-13
Swam at the Cavalier Invitational in February ... Finished third in the 200 breast, and fourth in the 100 breast ... Also swam the prelims of both IM events ... B-finalist in two events at the Hokie Fall Invitational ... Finished 12th in the 400 IM, and 16th in the 200 breast ... Also made the C finals in the 100 breast, taking 20th.

2011-12

Three-event finalist at the CAA Championships ... Finished 14th overall in the 100 breast, 15th in the 200 breast, and 16th in the 400 IM ... Finished 14th overall in the 400 IM at the Terrapin Cup Invitational ... Made the C finals in both breaststrokes.

Prep:
Three-time Scholastic All-American ... Qualified for USA Swimming Long Course Junior Nationals in the 200 breast ... Also qualified for the Short Course Junior Nationals in the 100 and 200 breast  and competed at YMCA Nationals as a member of Lynchburg YMCA swim team ... Member of National Honor Society ... Joins classmates and club teammates Chad Nowakowski and Kemp Pettyjohn to swim for the Tribe.

Personal:
Son of David and Mary Head ... Chose to attend William and Mary because he enjoyed the intimate college atmosphere coupled with great people and strong academics.
