Q: Why did you choose the Tribe?
A: I chose the Tribe because of the academic opportunities I would be presented with. I wanted to be a part of a program whose members have great success both on and off the field.

Q: Describe a moment when you felt the most Tribe pride…
A: Watching the student athletes in the athletic department come together and raise over $20,000 for the Todd Weaver Memorial Fund. It exemplified the true meaning of One Tribe One Family.

Q: Take us through your pre-race mental preparation routine:
A: Listen to music, focus on the race, and stay relaxed.       

Q: Do you belong to any other clubs, groups, or organizations?
A: I am a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity as well as a member of the Biology Club and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

Q: What are some community activities you or your team have done?
A: Tutoring at Matthew Whaley, DJ Montague, helped Williamsburg Fire Department with their community letter, James River Swim for Cancer, Kiwanis Club Shrimp Feast Volunteer.

Q: What is your intended or declared major and why?
A: Biology with intentions to go to medical school.

Q: Describe your dream job:
A: Work as a physician or surgeon for all types of patients.

Q: If you could play another sport at W&M what would it be and why?
A: Tennis because that is one of the sports I grew up on and have always had an interest in the sport.

Q: Favorite team tradition/activity and why?
A: Training Trip because we are all together specifically for training usually somewhere fun like Florida or Puerto Rico and have no school to worry about. We dedicate 100% of our focus to the sport.

Q: Which teammate will have the most interesting job in 10 years and why?
A: Julia Applebaum '11 because she got a degree in Linguistics and is really hard working and probably will be doing some awesome government job.

Q: What animal would best describe you and why?
A: Probably a chimpanzee because I like being part of a group and helping out everybody else.

Q: What is your favorite quote or phrase?
A: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing” – Edmund Burke

Q: Favorite place you have visited or traveled to and why?
A: Tanzania – It is so different over there. Most of the landscape is natural parks and has been untouched by  man. It is like looking into the past because what we are seeing today is the same thing we would have seen a thousand years ago.

Q: If you could sit down for lunch with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
A: J.K. Rowling because I would want to see where her literary genius comes from.

Q: Most addicting television show?
A: Entourage and The Office

Q: How will you change the world (or even just one person’s world)?
A: By becoming a doctor and helping to progress scientific research.

Q: Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know...
A: I know how to ballroom dance

Q: What was your most-commented Facebook post?
A: When I put a status about my recovery status from an accident I had.

Q: What’s number one on your bucket list and why?
A: To go skydiving because it is something I have always wanted to do and seems pretty wild.

Q: What is your best non-athletic skill?
A: Work Ethic

Q: Favorite Person to follow on Twitter?
A: Ryan Lochte

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
A: Know it alls – you can’t possibly know everything.

Q: What is something you are afraid of? 
A: Haunted houses

Q: What is an obstacle you had to overcome in your life?
A: I have been quite lucky in that I have no significant obstacles in my life. I got hit by a car once and didn’t do anything for two days but recovered quite quickly, but other than thought, nothing too crazy.
