Indoor: Competed four times each in the shot put and weight throw ... Best put came at the Vince Brown Invitational, where he recorded a mark of 13.44m (44-1.25) ... Also had his best effort in the weight at that meet, finishing fifth with a distance of 13.52m (44-4.25).
Outdoor: Competed exclusively in the discus and hammer throw ... Finished 16th in the hammer and 19th in the discus at the CAA Championships ... Best discus mark was 36.85m (120-11), set at George Mason in April ... Also had his best showing in the hammer at that meet, placing eighth with a throw of 42.82m (140-6).

Prep: All-around athlete at Falls Church High in Virginia ... Lettered in football, basketball, and lacrosse as well as track and field ... Earned all-state honors both indoors and outdoors in 2010 ... Took eighth indoors in the shot put at the state meet ... Also earned all-region accolades in the shot ...
