W&M and Miami (Ohio) will meet for the second straight season. Last year, the RedHawks downed the Tribe, 73-69, in Oxford, Ohio. The Green and Gold rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to take a 69-68 lead with 49 seconds remaining, but Josh Sewell's beat the shot clock with a 3-pointer as Miami pulled out the four-point victory.
The Tribe is 3-0 for the first time since 1992-93 following an 83-61 road win at High Point on Saturday night. The Green and Gold won its second road game of the week, including a 71-59 win at Liberty on Nov. 12, shooting 55.3 percent from the field and hitting 25-of-32 from the free throw line. Junior forward Tim Rusthoven led the Green and Gold with 23 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore guard Marcus Thornton scored 21 points and dished out a career-high five assists.
