Men's Basketball Game Highlights vs. Goucher

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Check out the game highlights from the William and Mary men's basketball team's 94-60 rout of Goucher on Friday night. The Tribe shook off a slow start, before opening up an 18-point halftime lead. W&M led by as much as 38 in the second half, while shooting 48.5 percent from the floor and hitting a season-high 13 3-pointers. The Green and Gold dished out 20 assists comapred to five turnovers, while holding a 46-27 cushion on the boards. The highlights are available above or by clicking HERE.

Freshman Omar Prewitt led the Tribe with 20 points and seven rebounds, while junior guard Marcus Thornton finished with 19 points and a career-high tying six assists. Sophomore Terry Tarpey turned in a nice all-around stat line with seven points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals. Senior guard Julian Boatner added 15 points as he connected on 5-of-8 from 3-point range. The Green and Gold also welcomed back a pair of players to the lineup. Senior Bandon Britt, who missed the opening nine games of the season, made his season debut, finsihing wiht nine points, while freshman Daniel Dixon returned from injury and added six on a pair of 3-pointers.

The Tribe returns to action when it travels to Charleston, W.Va., to face the West Virginia Mountaineers on Sunday, Dec. 29. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. from the Charleston Civic Center, and the game will be televised on ROOT Sports TV out of Pittsburgh. The broadcast can be heard over the Tribe Radio Network with Jay Colley and Charlie Woollum on the call.
