WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - One of the most affordable forms of entertainment in Williamsburg, William and Mary men’s and women’s basketball season tickets are now on sale. A number of ticket packages are available for individuals and families.
New, more affordable pricing options are also available for head coach Tony Shaver’s squad. Fans can purchases a mezzanine level season ticket for just $75 apiece. An additional $5 discount is available for W&M faculty and staff, active military, and seniors 65 and over. The season ticket package is amazing valuable of less than $6 per game.
The Family Plan is back for 2013-14, offering fans a season ticket for just $149. A mezzanine family plan includes two adult and two children tickets for the Tribe’s 14-game home schedule. The season ticket price tag equates to paying for less than five home games, providing fans with a great value to check out one of the highest-scoring and most exciting teams in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Lower level parquet and box seating is still available for $125 per season ticket with a $100 donation to the Tribe Club per seat. Call the Tribe Ticket Office at 757-221-3340 for seating options in this level. Courtside Club seating located at the tables on court level is sold out for the 2013-14 season.
For just $45, fans can purchase women’s basketball season tickets and see new Tribe head coach Ed Swanson’s team in 13 home dates, a value of less than $4 per game. After more than 400 career victories and five postseason bids, including three NCAA Tournament berths, at Sacred Heart, Swanson enters his first season on the sidelines for the Green and Gold. He will use the same blueprint with the Tribe, featuring an up-tempo style built around defense and providing a fun brand of basketball for fans to watch. W&M welcomes back eight players from a season ago, while adding a deep and talented five-member freshman class.

Tribe women’s basketball opens the season with road games at Longwood (Nov. 11) and East Carolina (Nov. 15), before hosting High Point at Kaplan Arena in its home opener on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. The men’s team also opens the season on the road at Hampton on Nov. 8, before welcoming Liberty to Williamsburg in the home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.
