WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -
The William and Mary women's basketball team will host its annual Breast Cancer
Awareness game "Hoops for a Cure" on Friday, Feb. 15, against Northeastern at
8:00 P.M. Additionally, the contest
against the Huskies will be televised on Comcast Sports Network Mid-Atlantic
and the Comcast Sports Network New England.
Admission to the game will be free of charge for fans wearing
pink. Promotional t-shirts will go on
sale prior to Feb. 15 and can be purchased at upcoming men's basketball home
games or by calling the W&M Women's Basketball Office at 757-221-3140. T-shirts will be sold for the price of $10 for
students and $15 for adults.
A portion of the t-shirt proceeds will
benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, which is a breast cancer awareness &
research foundation founded by the late Kay Yow, former Head Coach at North
Carolina State.
